With strong links to programming elements of Founders District, Queens Council of the Greater New York Councils, Boy Scouts of America, Cub Scout Pack and Boy Scout Troop 153 have developed an exciting program for boys in grades 1 through 5, and for young men who have entered grade six or have graduated from the Cub Scout program. These programs offer the tools and opportunities to: Enhance Character, Develop Citizenship and Ensure Fitness. Scouting provides fun, friendship and positive goals through achievement,
and the means to make the most of family, community and the nation through
good deeds.

Updates for the activities of Troop
153 We meet weekly on Sundays (when not camping) at 4:30 in Father Smith Hall in St. Anastasia School (enter on Alameda Ave). There, we develop the needed skills for us to be successful in the Scouting program ... but more so, we love the outdoors! We go camping each month, go to summer camp for one week, and last year we attended Philmont Scout Ranch for a great adventure of ten days. We are a backpacking Troop! Aaron Beattie is the Scoutmaster, Adriane Jarosch is the Committee Chairperson, and Eric is the Senior Patrol Leader. Our Troop is open to all young men in the community who are graduates of the Cub Scout program or ages 11 to 18. Join the adventure, call the number below for more information. |
Information for unit events can be
