JANUARY 2006

  • Friday, January 13th –Bears den meeting ONLY

  • Saturday, January 14th – Monday Jan 16th – WEBELOS CAMPING TRIP AND KLONDIKE DERBY REHEARSAL – CAMP GLEN GRAY, NJ. ALL WEBES PARTICIPATING IN KLONDIKE DERBY ARE REQESTED TO ATTEND.

  • Friday, January 20th – LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION. All Scouts attend

  • Friday, January 27th – Webelos den meeting ONLY. Final Klondike Derby prep.

  • Saturday, January 28th – KlONDIKE DERBY! This is an outdoor competition that our Webelos will be participating in. Please come with your families to cheer our Scouts along! It will be held at the Muttontown Preserve in Long Island.

FEBRUARY 2006

  • Friday, February 3rd – Regular Den Meetings for ALL Scouts

  • Friday, February 10th – WEBELOS den meeting ONLY

  • Friday, February 17th – Regular Den Meetings – All Scouts

  • Friday, February 24th – NO MEETING – SCHOOL VACATION

MARCH 2006

  • Friday, March 3rd – Pinewood Derby! ALL SCOUTS!

  • Sunday, March 5th – SHELTER ROCK DISTRICT PINEWOOD DERBY – Scouts who have won the first 3 places for speed and first 3 places for design in each age group for our pack are eligible to participate, all are invited to attend! Location – the Source Mall in Westbury

  • Friday, March 10th – WEBELOS den meeting only

  • Friday, March 17th – Regular Den meetings for ALL Scouts

  • Friday, March 24th – WEBELOS den meeting only

  • Friday, March 31st – BLUE AND GOLD BANQUET! This is an award banquet and to celebrate the Webelo II’s crossing over to Boy Scouts!

APRIL 2006

  • Saturday, April 8th – SPECIAL TRIP – OVERNIGHT ON THE USS BATTLESHIP NEW JERSEY! More information to follow.

Dens (individual groups of Scouts by age group) meet once a week; the entire Pack meets once a month for “Pack Night” where we recognize achievements and awards earned by Scouts.  We also do an outdoor activity (hike or community service) or field trip on a weekend day once a month.
